BREED: Ragdoll-x sealpoint
Estimated Birthday: 10/31/10
Our boy flanders came into the County shelter in a cat trap -- but, oh my, he sure didn't belong there!Sweet as can be, he loves nothing better than to roll from side to side, knead the air and purr as you stroke him.Gets along extremely well with other cats.Unfortunately, Flanders tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), an immunosuppressive virus which could possibly result in greater susceptibility to disease and a shorter lifespan down the road (though most FIV+ cats live long and healthy lives). FIV can also be communicated between cats by biting, so if he were to go to a home with another cat it would need to be a cat that is nonaggressive so that there is no real chance of a bite occurring. We're happy to provide you with more information about FIV -- just ask!Adoption fee waived for the right home.
