  • This incredible group of beautiful persian and himalyan cats was literally flown in to us from a shelter in Cairo, Egypt, where ""adopting"" a pet is not even considered. Most of them were hand-raised by shelter volunteers and have lived in a free-roaming shelter environment their whole lives. They are incredibly affectionate, and get along with other cats extraordinarily well.
  • Unlike their American counterparts, they are not bred to produce flat faces, so they avoid all of the health problems associated with that feature.
  • Portly Said is outgoing, attention-grabbing and vocal -- always at the door when he hears you, wanting you to love on HIM!
  • Very active and curious ... you'll need to be very cautious with exterior doors with this guy, he wants to know what's on the other side of every door.
  • Keep in mind that these long-haired kitties will need regular grooming to keep them mat-free.
